Leah DeRose is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 17 years of experience in the mental health field. She has extensive experience working in multiple county systems, where she provided therapy, crisis work and patient advocacy services to individuals and families in need. Her deep commitment to helping others, coupled with her expertise in navigating complex systems, has allowed her to make a lasting impact on the communities she serves.
Leah transitioned into private practice for several years and created DeRose Therapy Group, a premier mental health and wellness group practice. She has continued to provide high-quality mental health services both with the clients she works with and the therapists she supervises. She specializes in a range of therapeutic approaches, tailoring her methods to meet the unique needs of each client. Leah’s practice has become a trusted space for individuals, couples and families seeking support for a variety of mental health concerns.
Leah missed working in the community setting and recently took on the role of Mobile Crisis Supervisor for Sierra Mental Wellness Group. Here she leads a team in providing critical crisis intervention services to individuals in acute mental health crises. She is passionate about creating premier clinical services through any role she resides in.
As a clinical supervisor, Leah draws on her extensive experience to guide and mentor other therapists. Her leadership is rooted in a client-centered philosophy, ensuring that the therapists she supervises are equipped with the skills and knowledge to provide compassionate, effective care. Her dedication to client advocacy is evident in her personalized care, which prioritizes both emotional and psychological well-being.
